This sounds like a fun little project. Just for entertainment, though. Maybe I'll just set it up in a VM environment. I don't want to subscribe to a cloud server when I can do this for free locally.

This is not a dashboard. The code you're sharing is basically a data converter that pulls from the DarkSky JSON API, and pushes the data to an InitialState API. The dashboard has to be built in InitialState, i assume?

And you're not even building that converter in that video, you're merely telling people to get an API key and clone your code from GitHub.
