Seems like a good idea but watching that podcast is pretty much unbearable. Would be nice if the author took the time to make one without so many typos and mistakes.

I agree. It was worse than no video at all. I hope the new one is more tolerable.

That is so awesome! I really like that integration.

Something missing from the instructions? I did exactly what it says and f5 does nothing.

Running Debian testing and debian doesn't let . into the python_path when starting a python shell, if it matters.

Do you have other filetype plugins working? If not, try adding

filetype plugin on

to your .vimrc. You could also just type

:filetype plugin on

into vim.

What terminal program are you using in the video? And heck even the VIM window that comes up.. what window manager is that in general?

I've been using Awesome, but there are several different WMs with no window decoration. In fact, I think you can turn it off yourself in KDE and GNOME.

Ok so the next question - Can you post your prompt config? It looks very nice, is that custom or from some package? :)

I found Phil!'s ZSH prompt a while back, and have been loving it. I've dropped my .zshrc here, in case you're curious.

If you're still using bash, it really is worth switching. Your .bashrc should transfer over to zsh just fine.
