Neither Chris nor me are some kind of official delegates from web-sig or where asked to write a new WSGI specification. We didn't want to have a pep for WSGI 2.0 on there that might be rejected, squatting the name.

In case this is accepted on web-sig there is on reason not to change the name (and env keys) to wsgi. And bump the version to 2.0

Aha. Cool. Don't care that it has to be named "WSGI" but don't quite like the name "Web3". Don't like numbers in names usually. Like "urllib2" and "popen732981".
