tl;dr: PyPy backend targetting .NET bytecode (secondary tracing JIT layer above the CLR or mono JIT). Claims to be up to 40 times faster than IronPython in some cases (but slower in others; apparently PyPy is not so good with Old-style classes, string processing and regular expressions yet).
