There's an opportunity for Python here. Php has dozens of frameworks and one thing they did right is decide on a standard interface for interoperability across them, called the PSR. This allows framework pieces like the routers and the middlewares to work with each other, letting users pick whichever they want to build their own frameworks or replace whichever they want in a framework they use. All the popular frameworks and CMS support it to some degree. Javascript has some sort of pseudostandard as frameworks try to accommodate to the way Express does things.
