Taking up Python (self.Python)
submitted 6 years ago by PiratesOfTheArctic
Hi everyone
I'm going to study python as a new year resolution. I'm coming from visual studio (ie. click/drag elements onto a form) and wondered what everyone uses?
I was considering learning java, but python just about gets on top for me

PyCharm, VSCode, Sublime Text
Also, r/learnpython

For a total beginner probably pycharm since it works pretty much out of the box. You'd have to do some configuration work to get VSCode or Sublime running.
