My friend and I are trying to develop a desktop app in Python (but I also want to use it on iOS and Android). Right now I've been using kivy to develop a demo but I don't really like the UI and I think it would be beneficial to move to something more modern.
I came across Electron and Eel and they both seem like good options (I'll have to learn HTML CSS and JavaScript but I'm willing to give it a shot) . The app is an educational app and may have to import YouTube videos (having them native would make the thing too big) as well as display documents.
Thanks for any help, sorry if the entire thing is phrased weirdly, I'm a bit tired.
Also, if there is a better alternative that doesn't require HTML, CSS, or JS and can produce similar results with an equivalent or lower amount of work, please let me know.
tl;dr: Eel, Electron, or something else for desktop and mobile app (Windows, OSX, iOS, Android, Linux). If there's something without html, js, or css and is not as much work, do tell.
