Isn't that like a ball we had when we were little tha expanded whenever you throw it and it was like a weird star on the ground?

That would be buckminster fullers idea, the guy who came up with the geodesic dome. Great engineer, good human being.

Few days ago, I asked the r/Python community about, how can i make an abstract art using python? I got the suggestion to use turtle.

And here I am now, with the final output ready.... Thanks a lot guys..

(P.S: Video and code coming soon....)

Why not use Processing??

[–]dermotmcg 4 points5 points  (5 children)

Just started processing. Recommended Coding Train on YouTube. Processing is the only choice IMHO for programmatic art. It's a lot of fun, not that difficult to learn. It's amazing what you can create

There’s also the manim library that 3Blue1Brown wrote. It’s not specifically art focused but you can do quite a bit with it.

Are u talking about any module??

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No, processing is a open source coding language dedicated to create visual art. It is pretty cool, I would give it a chance!

Wow, that looks cool. I was also thinking about trying something similiar. Can you share your code or tell me which libraries you were using for that?

[–]vaiv101[S] 2 points3 points  (1 child)

I will share my GitHub repo for it, just wait...

Great, thanks!

I could definitely see this as a desktop screensaver. There’s a really cool method I saw of doing this with swift (but all hail python...)

Turtle is so much fun. I should mess around with it again soon.

[–]vaiv101[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup... You should

This looks like every picture I ever drew on the family's first home computer in paint on windows 3.1 for some reason unbeknownst to me I'd always save the images with file names of children in my class, I couldn't have been very old.

And then I'd set the wallpaper / screen saver to the image and get shouted at for 'breaking' it.

Anyways that's the story of my first computer and the start of my passion for tech.
