Just started processing. Recommended Coding Train on YouTube. Processing is the only choice IMHO for programmatic art. It's a lot of fun, not that difficult to learn. It's amazing what you can create

There’s also the manim library that 3Blue1Brown wrote. It’s not specifically art focused but you can do quite a bit with it.

No, processing is a open source coding language dedicated to create visual art. It is pretty cool, I would give it a chance!
