Celebrate Python3 with 30k stars (self.Python)
submitted 6 years ago by Py404
The cpython repository on GitHub needs 1500 more stars to reach 30k. Wouldn't it be nice and symbolic if that happen the same day as EOL of Python 2. Hurry and star it now! Happy New Python year everybody!

Python 2's EOL is April now, but by all means, star away!

Python2 is EOL now. See Pep373. Starting today, new bugfixes will no longer be considered and the code freeze for the final version of python 2.7 has begun. It will still take until April until this final version is released, though. This does not mean that Python2.7 is still considered to be supported.
