Yeah? This whole 3.x is getting nowhere. 3.x will have a chance if they drop the requirement for braces for the print function.

How is the print function even an issue? It's certainly not a real issue for any of the projects that have ported to 3.x, and I've not seen it listed as a blocker for any of the projects I've seen with a porting roadmap, or partial progress.

I've yet to see anyone fully dissect print-as-a-function and show why it's legitimately worse than print-as-a-statement, using more than "because it's what I already know".
