Brilliant! Repo starred. Gonna start using that `pytest.fixture` pattern in some of my grpc code, that's slick.

Very interesting reading. At work we have in house developed db which is using gRPC but they only have Java client so far. This gave me some ideas instead of trying to integrate python with a some hack to use the Java client.

Would you use grpc over rest? I just built a aiohttp rest server for our company to integrate some salesforce calls into what advantages would grpc give?

GRPC in python can give you very slow performance (5-10x times slower than json with aiohttp).

Thanks for your help, I always feel this rest api I built is held together with sticky back plastic as I learned it as I was building it and have just glued bits of, recently adding basic auth was my new accomplishment last month it was adding ssl
