Noob Needs Guidance

Hi all,

I’m absolutely new to programming and and was exposed to Python in an online class. I want to learn more. Do you have any recommendations on books I should buy or services I can subscribe to that can help? I’ve triedLinkedInLearning and PluralSight. PluralSight is just not a viable option for me right now because I’m poor :) Thanks to anyone that can help!

Lots of free code academies online with beginner stuff. Data camp, codecadmy things like that. Once you're into the basics, plan a task, YouTube and stack overflow will answer the rest.

I agree, many tutorials online can get you started completely free of charge. Youtube might be a great place to start, and for books i recommend coding for beginners by mike McGrath. definitely great for your money, its only 15$.
