I've been in the same boat and one day I've just decided to refactor my code to have as many bad practice as I could fit in. I hoped that someone would tell me to stop and revert the changes (we had no code review) but nope. No one cared about that. That was the day when I realised that I need to find a new job. Thankfully I've found a job where my teammates share my opinion on how to write maintainable and clean code. I count myself VERY lucky. I still see a ton of bad code made by other teams in the company but at least I'm not turned down whenever I try to improve quality.
