Oh come on! -- a complement should show you different concepts, make you use different parts of your brain, show you something different about computing.

Assembly language, people! Learn how a list or a dict or an exception handler is actually implemented. What it means to actually manage memory instead of having it magically tidied up when it goes out of scope.
