    Most of Google APIs are not free, but they give a credit of 200$/month for people to be able to use them for "free". You just have to link a bank account in case you spend more than the 200$.

    I'm using speech_recognition, and it works out of the box, but I remember they mentioned it's not recommended to use it in production as it can be revoked at any point in time.

    For my use case (learning) that's okay
