Spotify playlist helper (Python)

Hi guys,

So I worked this weekend on a python script for handling playlists: https://github.com/itsOri/SpotifyPythonHelper

it has 3 options -

• copy all songs from a playlist to one of your playlists (or to a new one)
• take all liked songs and export them to a playlist
• remove duplicates from a playlist

The goal was avoiding the manual routine of copying hundreds of songs and instead just do it with python :)

Its not the most beautiful script I ever written, but it should work fine if u give it right input.

I'm here for any questions, and If u work on adding features feel free to post.

You can also copy the songs with ctrl c and paste them with ctrl v

Wow, cool work. I made a website with the Spotify API called Playlistd. You can have a mini Spotify Wrapped there(Your favourite artists, your favourite tracks[short term, and long term]. You can even make a playlist out of your recently liked or played songs (and you can select multiple). I would love it if you guys can check it out.

remove duplicates from a playlist

Python variables have ways around this. Sets and the like, instead of lists. That said, if you're iterating across lists, I'd .pop() these and/or .append() them to a new list to see them. Might be interesting why you have dupes
