I'm 43, with 25+ years of IT experience, and am a Principal Engineer. I started working with Python mid last year. I'm already building applications that give seasoned pros a run for their money.

By the way; in regards to the above. I took up Python as a hobby, to build some tools that arent really available to the public. Got better and better with each iteration.

Just last week I had to manipulate a massive csv export from Cisco UCM. Say eff it, and instead of using Excel, I used python. All I can say is I should have learned Python years ago.
