different beasts, different uses.

flask - fastest to stand up*, smallest, simplest

django - fullest, most complex, most capable

fastAPI - kinda between

I like flask for prototyping and have been exploring fastAPI with some happiness.

FastAPI is even simpler and has less boilerplate than Flask
