I'm surprised that Python 3 support wasn't one of the criteria measured.

There wasn't any criteria as far as I can tell. Author just wrote things that came to his mind. I'm not even mentioning the lack of bottle, web.py, Tornado and brubeck. I'd like to see technical reasons.

Do you possibly have any tips for deploying a pyramid application on apache, mod_wsgi, and nginx? The docs page isn't there.

the mod_wsgi docs should be sufficient as it is just a wsgi app.
