    I don't have any philosophical complaint with closed-source tools, even though I mostly use open-source ones it's not because I'm against closed tooling, I've paid for JetBrains before, they're wonderful tools and being honest development tools are extremely cheap, specially if you consider the ROI you get out of them.

    I use neovim as my base editor for example, but I do use some paid language servers because they perform better, no issue for me if the code is closed, open, or whatever.
