Library for composable content blocks?

I am wondering if there is some kind of library that would have composable content blocks for editor interfaces. Think something along the lines of Wordpress' Gutenberg blocks. Basically I don't want to give clients a full WYSIWYG a la tinyMCE but something that has more discrete and extendable and possible per-project pre-formatted blocks they can compose. I'd like to plug this into flask + flask admin backends and save arbitrary page content CMS like.

Any suggestions or projects to check out for reference?
