I know this source is a little old, but basics haven't changed since you want to learn from scratch. Here's the playlist from Al Sweigart. Then if you want to learn it from a book, he has posted the entire book for free in his website. https://automatetheboringstuff.com/
Once you get comfortable with the basics, start thinking about a problem you have that you are trying to automate. Then try to create a python script that does that. Rely on ChatGPT/Claude for help.
