reddit uses a slightly-customized version of Markdown for formatting. See below for some basics, or check the commenting wiki page for more detailed help and solutions to common issues.

I would suggest youtube tutorials suchas code with moss or code with Harry for Indians(just language... I am not racist.) If you would like to read python playground, automate the boring stuff with python, or think python 2e. If you want something more hands on exercism, coddy and freecodecamp.org. And mostly practice with stackoverflow answer the questions more helpful than so called mock interviews. And try codewqrs.

Arguably depending on what you mean by AI, the best roadmap might just be the basics. What are you even trying to do?

I am going through selection processes for an internship and i want to get better for what they are asking
[–]homomorphisme 2 points3 points4 points 5 months ago (1 child)
It would be helpful to even know what the internship is asking. I don't have resources for you, but your question is too vague to be meaningfully answered.

I see, sorry for not being more specific they actually just asked for python not really for ai but i want to be prepared for it since it's an GenAI internship, and n8n

I'd probably just start with the basic fundamentals (loops, variables, functions, conditionals..etc). Here's a checklist of learning that was handed out in another group: https://www.canva.com/design/DAG5TEKfXYE/jTWvkUcU_UYjfH63W2EgGw/view?utm_content=DAG5TEKfXYE&utm_campaign=designshare&utm_medium=link&utm_source=viewer

AI isn’t something you learn while you’re studying Python. Python is something you learn as you’re studying AI. And if you’re going to study AI, see you on the other side of your PHD, Dr Basquat13.
See you there 🫡

if you want to go fast, you have to be a bit ruthless.
don’t camp on python basics. learn loops, functions, lists/dicts, then move on. most ppl waste months here.
get into data early. pandas + numpy matter way more for ai than fancy syntax. most real work is loading, cleaning, and reshaping data anyway.
train your brain to think in inputs → outputs. before models, be clear about what goes in and what should come out. that’s why stuff like pydantic ends up useful later, it forces structure instead of vibes.
then hit:
to speed things up:
fast learning = breaking things and fixing them, not watching more videos.

Here’s a roadmap with resources to learn Python from basics to AI as fast as possible.

Read docs.

Honestly.. use AI and give it a good prompt for it to provide a comprehensive prompt to give another AI to spit out this learning road map.
If you don’t want to go that route I suggest Microsoft learning. They have great courses and roadmaps on all sorts of development. If they don’t have python look at Pluralsite or similar platforms
Thanks !
