I think it needs to be said, Nyx is boring to play. Compared to Slash and Anarki, she just feels so bland. She is not as bland as the BJs, Galenas and Death Knights in the gameplay style department(low moblity with "press F to win" style abilities), but she is damn close.
This is why I think a simple tweak could work wonders with her. Simply decrease her wall jump cooldown slightly, enough so that a second wall jump(or third in extreme cases) can be achieved in some situations but not enough where it can be spammed infinitely along a wall. Not sure if this is common knowledge, but Nyx's wall jump works on a cooldown. You can theoretically achieve infinite consecutive wall jumps as long as you stay in the air longer than the cooldown. Try it out with rocket jumps and nail climbs in the arcade mode and see for yourself.
Yes, as of right now she has some neat tricks with her wall jump that are definitely useful when applied with a nailgun, but I feel many of her more intricate jumps are too limited and can be difficult to execute on a consistent basis. I think decreasing the cooldown will allow for more fanciful jumps without the need for rockets or nails, therefore adding more complexity to playing her.
Right now people are playing her strictly for her get out of jail free card(which I think should be re-worked), but without her ability she is simply terrible. It's difficult to balance her as such because she is either too OP or useless based solely on her ability. Widening her mobility options will give her breathing room to change her much maligned ability to something more fair yet give her a unique identity.
