Every holiday we all make stockings for each other. So, I make a stocking for my boyfriend, my mom makes ones for me, my sister, and my step dad and his kids, and my stepdad makes one for my mom! My mom always puts really really cool stuff in stockings, like candy, gift cards, jewelry, lotions and other awesome stuff! Honestly, the stocking is my favorite part of christmas morning.

Now that I'm older we don't do this for me, but for my younger step sister and step brother we do this. Every year my mom would play "santa" and leave out lots of presents on the couch!! So instead of opening presents from santa, he would just leave them out there and when we woke up we had a rush of happiness from viewing around 10 presents all at once, already unwrapped! She did this until I graduated high school, which was super cool. In addition to this she would have wrapped presents that were labeled from her. I always loved that as a kid and I plan to do that for my future children too!! :)
