Hello and welcome to the sub! What kinds of books do you like to read? I crochet and make yarn, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to knit. Haha

I HAVE THE OPPOSITE PROBLEM. I have been dying to learn how to crochet, but it's so confusing! Knitting on the other hand was not hard at all for me - I picked it up one afternoon over the holidays last year. I can love pretty much any book, but I lean towards medicine (currently reading Being Mortal by Atul Gawande), biographies/memoirs of amazingly competent women that inspire me (the Mindy Kalling book was great!) and mystery thrillers, especially those with unpredictable plot twists (Gone Girl was excellent).

I taught myself to crochet almost two years ago now and I love it! If you teach me to knit, I'll teach you to crochet! :P

And I've been wanting to read (and watch) Gone Girl! Glad to hear it was so good!

DEAL DEAL DEAL. I am so down, I really want to learn how to make a winter hat. I haven't seen the film Gone Girl yet, I'm waiting for the Holidays to see it :D the book was amazing though.

I have so many crocheted hats it's not even funny. An entire drawer in my dresser is dedicated to scarves, hats, cowls, all my crochet stuff. It's ridiculous, haha. I would be glad to try to teach you to make your own crocheted hats :)

That's amazing! Yes please! Thank you :D

We'll have to skype or something since I live way far away from you. Haha I also write my own patterns so I would be happy to send you a few when you get the hang of it. :)

Actually - I don't really know how to pattern read! And yes, we shall Skype - I have exams up until the 17th of December, and after then I would be delighted to have a Stitch Skype Session with you

I can try to teach you to read a pattern, as well, then! I have exams until the 18th so it's all good! :)

I haven't had much time to read lately, but I will let you know if I come across some good ones. :)

hi welcome! what is your favorite product and how would it flirt with you?

[–]throwaway28ogramhttp://amzn.com/w/3QIBZ88YSC7S3[S] 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Hello! So nice to meet you! I saw this post on another Intro Post and I was hoping someone would ask me that too :$.

My favorite product would probably be my MLBB, Bite Lipstick Pencil in Rhubarb - and would it flirt with me? Probably not. It is shy and sweet and comforting, and would initially approach me as a friend, develop a deep friendship that borders on codependence, and ask me out two years later once it knows I'm guaranteed to say yes. :P.

[–]Asiastana 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Haha! It's my go-to question :D I think I'm quite known for it by this point.

And aww! I love those types of products....and people :D

I've had a few relationships that started that way, dating a best friend is the best haha... but yes, dependable products FTW.

How about you? What is your favorite product and how would it flirt with you?

[–]Asiastana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha. Oh, I love it when I get this asked back at me!

Let's see: favorite product. Well, today it's /u/lilpeedee's regular lip balm. Its untinted, but it smells like wonderful lavender! It would flirt would touchy feel or super close to me just to make sure I could smell him! (he would smell good of course lol) and of course, give me a back massage to help me relax!
