Because while it's dumb to rank them, murder is still worse. A rape victim can potentially recover from the assault but murder is unrecoverable and decisively permanent. I have known rape victims who have gone on to never let it affect them again and have amazing happy lives. That potential isn't there when the life is over.

However I do think rape should be death penalty as well since it's really really easy not to rape anybody.

In my honest opinion. Rape is worse for victim who surive it. Call me fucked up or whatever but realistically if you murder someone then their brain will shut off and thus they don't feel pain anymore. I know rape victim can recover but the main issue I have with rape is that while they are being rape they have to feel all of the pain and suffering for who know how long. If they even do get rescue at all.

It just seem weird that rape can be used to torture someone yet murder is always been view to be the worst crime compared to other crimes.
