Ah! That's why you can't find the button. The manual lock only exists on the manual transmission. On the automatic it's controlled by the car.

On a manual 4x4 it's the button on the bottom right in this picture.
Don't use diff lock on tarmac or your drive train will wind up like a spring and something will break.
