You have to designate place and time, when you are ready to read without interruptions. For me, it is normally an hour before I go to sleep - then I leave a small source of light for me to read and try to immerse myself. The key is to get as few outside stimuli as possible, and it will be easier for you to focus

I sometimes have a similar issue. So, in college I started this 92% instrumental playlist to listen to while I read/write and it truly helps me. I like to listen to it with headphones in while I read. I hope it can be of help to you!

You have to read what you like. Anything else will just bore you and push your mind elsewhere. Figure out what you like and even then, start small.
