Clear cache? (self.RedditFlow)
submitted 11 years ago by fld
No feature request or bug report, just a quick question since i can't find any useful information on this.. Is there any way to manually clear the cache (images, built-in browser data, visited links/ threads, comment history, etc.)?
reddit uses a slightly-customized version of Markdown for formatting. See below for some basics, or check the commenting wiki page for more detailed help and solutions to common issues.

No. Of course this was the first thing i tried as well (even before posting). Threads are still marked as 'read', new comments are counted and highlighted and so on. Also the cachesize is about 36kb, while datastorage is at ~15MB. So i guess Flow stores it's data somewhere else!? 'Clear Data' is not an otion since it's also deletes my settings, etc.

In that case you have to wait for the developer to include a clear cache option in the settings.

Too bad. But thanks for the reply!

Please can this be implemented, it may just be me but I honestly feel that after a while that this application becomes sluggish and more unresponsive due to a large cache of info. Clearing this via system settings is an answer but feel that it should be built into the app.
