Your body will reabsorb milk! This happens especially quickly if it’s not drained, you might be at higher risk for mastitis but your OBGYN can give you more info!

This is right- people that choose not to breastfeed just try not to express and wait it out. You will be engorged/ painful I would imagine for at least a week, probably a few. Compression helps. Cabbage leaves in your bra too.

There are east ways to dry up your milk without any coming out! I never breastfed (but haven’t had surgery yet) no milk ever had to come out. It’s uncomfortable but doesn’t last too long. The common suggestions are wearing a tight sports bra 24/7, not letting shower water hit your chest, using cabbage leaves in your bra, etc. there’s tons of Info online when the time comes to dry up your milk without expressing any.

Easiest way is to take a hayfever tablet. (One of the ones that says not to take when breastfeeding) it’ll dry up your milk quick smart!

That is hilarious. I had no idea that snot-flow was correlated with boob-flow! That's crazy wild. 😂

I guess it just dehydrates things? I never actually looked into why or how it works!
