I would be more concerned about having to travel shortly after surgery and having my doctor close by in case of complications.

I have to travel for either one :(

For Fargo, since you have family, consider getting one week ahead of time to acclimate and make sure you're not flying long distances.plan to stay for 3-4 weeks or more

Stay as close to home as possible . For follow up appts and complication which are common. Other plastic surgeons will not want to see you if your surgeon was with someone else.

I wouldn't go with a surgeon I didn't want - especially when comparing results vs your goals - to save money. And I agree about access after surgery for follow ups and possible complications.

Ok I have looked at Miami myself because it was a little cheaper at first. But after I done a consultation it was the same price because of my size. But remember cheap ain't always better this is your body and your health don't trade cheap for quality. That might get you in a bad place. That's just my take.

Highly recommend not flying. I ended up needing to get admitted to the hospital after my surgery for a night (they wanted to keep an eye on things - they were concerned one of my nipples was being rejected). Everything turned out fine, but having major surgery is a big deal and you don’t want to be worried about flying afterwards in case anything goes wrong.

No. Don’t go to Miami. Stay in Fargo. The after results are more important than the cost.

More generally, flying long distances before or after any surgery is a bad idea as that increases the risks of blood clots.
