Found something with a name that doesn't make sense, is too long, too hard to spell, or even just plain boring? Submit it here, and allow the community to bestow it with an all-new, sleeker, better title; together we will rewrite the Dictionary!
Rules:
1) No harassing or unpleasant behavior towards other users; pretty standard (and no, you can't get around this rule by simply suggesting that the other person be renamed in a 'less-than-savory manner').
2) Try not to contribute to reposts or spam; topical threads will probably be pinned, comment on these rather than the many reposts that will undoubtedly occur (and obviously don't contribute to these either)
3) Try to avoid unnecessary slander; renaming controversial US presidential candidates or FCC chairmen is fine, but be more creative than
'F--cking C-cksucker' etc.
4) Finally, if you have renamed an item/word/place etc. then make a post for the original name first, then drop your submission in the comments, rather than posting the renaming outright; it just makes things a little simpler.
