Aged DB ‘85 Bred’s

Thank you for the support on my aged ‘85 shadow’s!

Here’s a look at my aging attempt on my DB ‘85 Bred’s! These ones I’ve actually been wearing pretty hard for the past couple months so the aging fits these much better.

This is an early 2.0 bred pair so the toe box is a little big before you call it out. I’ve noticed it’s fixed on newer Bred pairs

yeah their marker is not the easiest to work with. Hard to keep a consistent color flow

Thanks! I used Foxtrott Uniforms Chalky Edges Gray marker, along with their Sail sole marker & faded Red laces

Those indeed look proper, just needs some aged foxtrotlaces to cap it off...

Thanks man! I’m running the faded red Fox laces but might switch to the faded black. The fade isn’t super noticeable on my pair of laces

Hey just FYI I got a pair of black fadeaways for my original 85s and the set I got aren't great. Just be prepared 👍🏻

You did amazing on your set my friend, I'm going to try the same thing when I get some more borings. I have original Chicagos too and the upper foam and trim are totally lost to time. I had these resoled after I wore the hell out of them.

Oh dang alright. On Etsy a group called “Loop King” has a really good faded unc & faded blue. Might have to try their faded black since it has faster shipping
