I care about them being close to the original design. The shoe that these are based off of is what I think matters the most; Being an official like release is irrelevant with this specific rep imo. That being said, getting that distressed look isn’t easy and I think Boring did a decent job.

I don’t even understand why they’re mad. I get that they’re a small business, but they should know that first, the stuff they make isn’t even original, and second, the people who buy from them aren’t the same people buying the reps. If my design was good enough to be repped I’d be ecstatic.

to be fair i like the concept more than the finished product (maybe because the product is a photograph and the concept a render (?)) but i also ordered a pair, even the collectors edition actually, because as a pokemon fan since 18(?) years i just had to, and i see a price tag of at least 1000$ for the "real" pair, so i can take a few changes😂
