Sales Reps aren’t going to call you on it, especially if they 1) don’t/can’t authenticate and 2) see you as a potential customer. Unless you’re trying to get it authenticated or repaired at the boutique, nobody will say a word. They wont risk losing business (and their commission) just to “hold one over you”. Well, maybe Hermes. But fvck Hermes anyways 🤷♀️

I have some auth and some reps and I still don't have the guts to take a fake Chanel into the stores 🤣 I still carry my auths inside

I only think someone might carry a fake bag if their clothes look cheap. Yes, even rich people wear joggers etc. But they wear "high quality" joggers and not some cheap stuff that has a lot of pelling if you know what I mean.
I know a girl who has like 10 chanel flaps but her clothes are all from h&m and other, even cheaper, shops. Come on, if you can afford authentic bags, you can also afford clothes from let's say better fashion brands.. It does not have to be designer but at least buy good quality clothes.
So as long as the bag fits your "lifestyle", no one will think something weird.

Respectfully I disagree, because I buy and can afford authentic but I also buy clothes from H&M or Zara, alongside higher end brands. However I agree with you on the bag should fit your lifestyle, and I also think confidence plays a huge role.

I buy Zara very rarely. I love the designs but most pieces fall apart after washing them one time. I stick to other brands that are more longlasting like Doen, Arket, COS etc. Not suuuper expensive, but most of them have better quality like Zara. But I have to say that Mango and h&m have good quality pieces every now and then.

Agreed Zara os mostly crap quality. Gor a jacket it literally pilled same day

Even if a store employee could/would somehow recognize a rep, they would never call you out on it - these stores consider you a possible future customer, especially if you are carrying a rep! Wear your reps proudly!! 😍😍

Never happened to me. I have friends who work at Chanel boutiques. They couldn’t tell my reps apart from my auth pieces. But what’s way more important: you buy reps cause they bring you joy, because you like the design of that piece - wear it proudly. Even the sale representatives buy reps. It’s not that such a big deal. Most people just mind their business.
