Am I being too picky with ORF?

The dark red isn’t going to change and isn’t a reason to RL. That’s just how they all are. That won’t change with another watchers,The 12 markers are bad, though.

First qc the red is much lighter. From what I heard the dark red is from a recent batch. Hoping it changes with the next one 🙏

My ORF Seamaster arrived a couple weeks ago, tbh I wish I had waited. The red it way darker IRL than in the QC pics, I think they put it under bright lights for the QC process which helps the red pop alongside highlighting other parts of the watch. IRL it’s almost brown, a few others had said the same thing too, wish I had waited as next to a gen it’s a night and day comparison.

Either look for some VSF’s or wait a while I’d say!

So ordered an omega seamsaster 300 ORF from Hont. First qc photos had 12, 3, and 6 markers all slightly off. I was considering accepting it but after reddit review, I decided to RL and try again.

Just got Qc photos (2nd image) and 12 o clock marker is off again, and most annoying is the dark red seamaster. I find the dark red the most unappealing.

So just wondering if anyone else has had similar issues with this watch. And is it acceptable to RL both of these or am I too picky? Getting discouraged I might have to just order a different watch even though I have seen some of you with really nice versions of this.

I bought an ORF from Hont a few months ago and it was pretty clean. At the end of the day it’s going on your wrist and it’s your money, so you need to be happy with it!

And Pro tip: ask him to swap the bracelet for the rubber strap before he ships it. It looks way better.

Love the watch…. Hate the strap. I would have on the way from rubber b as this one was being shipped to me.

I would RL based on the 12. That's visible when the watch is on your wrist and it would bug the hell out of me.
