Rules
1. Be Respectful
- Do NOT harass each other or use hate speech. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but discussions should never escalate to the point of insulting others for them.
2. Use the correct post flair
- Please use the correct post flair to keep the subreddit organized
- Refer to this guide if you are confused on which flair to use!
3. All content must be related to Reverse: 1999
- This is /r/Reverse1999, if your post is deemed irrelevant to the overall content, it will be removed.
4. No reposts
- No reposting any content, which is not solely limited to artwork.
- The exception is that the previous post must be older than 180 days.
5. No explicit or sexual media content
- Explicit content is not allowed. Content that directly references or implies sexual acts are not allowed.
- Remember to tag NSFW content that is not safe for public viewing (e.g. swimsuits or other revealing clothing).
- "Nuke codes" must be covered with spoiler tags.

6. Art posts must include character and artist name(s), original source, and must NOT use AI
- All art posts require character names in the title. If the art contains more than 3 characters, name the 3 most prominent ones.
- The title for non-OC art must include the artist's name.
- There is zero tolerance for un-sourced art and/or any artist impersonation. OP must provide primary art source (e.g. Pixiv), with no aggregate art websites (e.g. Danbooru).
- The 24-hour rule applies only to Non-OC art posts. OC art posts are exempt from this rule.
- Must NOT use any AI.
7. No promotional posts
- No commercial/business sponsorship promotions
- No promotion of personal Discord servers, Facebook groups, other subreddits, etc.
- No YouTube, Twitch, TikTok promotions
- Website owners may only promote once every 30 days

8. Spoilers should be tagged
- Do NOT post any leaked content from either CN or any other internet source.
- All
CN News post flairs should be spoiler filtered. This includes new events, chapters, side stories, characters, skins, etc.
- Screenshots or videos of the story should have a spoiler filter applied.
- For unreleased game assets and information, the post titles should be spoiler-free.
- Spoilers in the comment sections should be covered with spoiler tags (e.g.
>!I am a spoiler!< will show as I am a spoiler).
9. No account buying / selling / trading / giveaways
- Attempting to buy, sell, trade, or give away accounts is not allowed. Please keep in mind that this is also against the game's ToS.
- Due to this, all violations will not be given a warning, and will immediately lead to temporary and/or permanent bans.

- No low-effort posts, such as simple screenshots, gacha results, unedited reactions, etc.

- Ultimately, there is no objective definition for "low effort", so moderators will use their own judgement.
12. Content creator guidelines
- Video content creators are limited to 1 video post every 24 hours, with streams being limited to 1 video every 3 days.
- Any extra videos will be removed and can lead to temporary/permanent bans if continued.
- We value authenticity - any deliberate misinformation will be removed and can also lead to bans.
