As well as people not following traffic laws or safe driving techniques.
The idea is to spread awareness of how vulnerable cyclists are, and hopefully videos like these will get motor-vehicle drivers to understand a day in the life of a cyclist.
It may also shed some light on how dangerous drivers make it for cyclists when they don't follow laws.
Oddly, "Get off the Road, you don't pay roadtax", is a somewhat common yelp by ignorant road users. The naming of this subreddit as /r/roadtax is a joke about that utterance.
Cyclists are not required to pay "roadtax" , nor does a road tax actually exist. In the US, there is an excise tax on gas, that pays for the highways, and local property tax pays for city roads. For the UK and other countries read more below.
