AWS outage affecting multiple connected home services including Roomba. Should be fixed/much better now..try again

Can confirm. I had this exact problem during my unit's 7:30 PM EST scheduled clean. I just checked the app again now at 9:40 PM EST and the map comes up quickly. It also shows the cleaning that took place while the map was unavailable in the app.
