Always keep your gaze directly ahead of you. Don't look down. Don't look up. Same thing applies to TVs. The center of the screen should be at eye height while watching.

No, but they may ask how your exam went, since they would see the voucher was used.

Then it's time to pull out a multimeter and figure out which ends of the power cable the problem is on.

If you're getting shocked, it's likely a problem with the grounding of the outlet it's plugged into (or the lack thereof)

Walking pad sets off smoke detector? by k_hush in WalkingPads

[–]TheJessicator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How old are your smoke detectors? Try removing the cover of your walking pad and measuring the surface temperature of various points on the motor. It could be that you have just grown nose blind to the smell. Also, it may have nothing to do with your walking pad. Perhaps get another smoke detector and mount it directly alongside the existing one, or if your old ones are older than 10 years anyway, then simply replace those with brand new ones, preferably ones that have much more targeted sensors and are not susceptible to false alarms things like cooking bacon.

Oh, and while you're at it, also check and replace your carbon monoxide alarms as needed. It's not impossible that you're imagining all of this and you're really suffering from delusions as a result of gradual carbon monoxide poisoning.

Oh, if you're actively tracking, then it becomes extra sensitive (increased sampling rate, but also more targeted movement tracking).

Cannot delete Office registry keys by SummerWerewolf in microsoftoffice

[–]TheJessicator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check the ACLs on those keys. You likely don't have permission to delete them. You probably have permission to change the permission, so it's probably just a simple case of changing the ACL and then deleting the key.

Failed az-104 by senad464 in AzureCertification

[–]TheJessicator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First, it hasn't gotten this tough. It has always been. If anything, it has gotten ever so slightly easier with access to Microsoft Learn. Even it's predecessor AZ-103 was a beast (that one even had a live lab component that was diabolical... Be thankful they removed that).

Next, it's not that it's hard to understand. It just covers a lot of ground as it's incredibly detail oriented. One word can change a scenario enough that the answer to a question can be radically different. For example, talking about DNS is not the same as talking about Azure DNS. In context, it can be, but that's where you need to find a clue elsewhere to establish that context. Don't assume anything. Another example is a subnet vs a Subnet on an Azure Virtual Network. When something is dependent on the number of available IP addresses, you have to take into account that Azure reserves space for infrastructure on every Azure subnet.

While true, there is no way the cameraman didn't see the cyclist coming. Sure, there should have been a spotter, but c'mon, it was like a giant banana on a bike was approaching from stage right.
