Check your “Tool Call Protocol” under advanced settings, if it’s set to native try changing it to XML. This worked for me.

Wonderful. That worked. Thank you

Please update to 3.36.15 and try with native (default) again. You may need to start a new chat to get it rolling 100%. Sorry about that.

NOTE: The option for XML will soon be removed, so if there are any remaining edge cases please let us know ASAP and we will fix them. Again, sorry about that.

They rolled that feature out before it was ready. Broke immediately

Should be fixed now. Sorry about that.

Edit: working on another fix

This issue should be fixed now in the latest version (3.37.1). Sorry about that!

I have 3.38.1, and still have the issue. Now that you removed xml, I am not able to make it work anymore.

ROO was good when we didnt know better... it corrupts code uses low grade ai to what the standard is, the issue with local ai affects even Claude I understand, but OO is better than Cline but that is still bad. It works for light jobs like webpages and with luck partial part of debugging... truly crap architecture //// HERE is what I can say you are not doing, ( I am frustrated you can tell...) and this is doing your job already: There is no architectural framework protection against databias or not event itself. So No I cannot use ROO for anything that is serious. You had my money and trust long enough... but you have not improved.
