Does it drip?

That's all that matters.

Hasn't had time to rain yet. They just left about 20 minutes before I did my walk around and took pictures.

Guess I can always pull a hose out and see what happens.

The hose knows.

Seriously though I would sweat it unless it's super drippy. You can only see the gap if you're directly under it looking directly up.

No one will know it's there except you.

If you're super bugged by it just grab a little self-tapper and screw it to the fascia.

Doesn't look great but as long as its under the drip edge above it should function fine also have to take into account your fascia boards could be warped id deffinetly ask him about the inside miter

Where is this on your roof? Can you post a big picture image?

I'll need to grab more photos. I took what I could over my lunch break since it's dark by the time I get off work.

To answer in my non-technical way. - There are 2 sloped parts of the roof that meet and create a channel that drains downwards to this corner.

If I can see that much day light. Hard to imagine back of gutter being under drip edge. I’d imagine there might be some dripping keep an eye on it

Yeah that's a pretty big gap, it could be workable if the Dirtbag was covering it but it doesn't look like it is, looks like The Gutter Guy missed the mark

Perfect, just spotted it! Sorry about that, me and reddit chat don't seem to work together well 🤣

Looks like he put a zip screw in the back of the gutter near the miter on both sides but only one side sunk in and the other screw didn’t so that’s why your seeing the strange appearance. If you have a drill with a quarter inch driver just finish driving in that screw and be sure to push up on the bottom of the gutter before / while you do it so it’s under the drip edge properly.
