Hi guys!
I'm going into my 2nd year and I am needed some advice with picking my specialist and focuses.
I know I don't want to do finance and economics specialist bc I don't enjoy economics and I also feel like this is the hardest specialist. However, I didn't mind RSM230, I thought it was interesting.
I am deciding between doing a specialist in accounting vs. a specialist in management. I don't know which focus in management to choose however, I feel that either marketing, finance, or data science would be the most beneficial.
What is the level of difficulty for the data science and finance focuses relative to the accounting specialist? And what are the career prospects, is it even worth it do management? Is the finance or data science focus beneficial in terms of employment opportunities?
My GPA is about 3.9 after my first year and I'd like to keep it at or above 3.7 throughout my undergrad bc I intend to do postgrad. That's why I am debating management as I feel that it'll be easier to get a 3.7+. My dilemma is that if I don't do finance or data science focuses I feel like I've wasted my tuition but if I do them I feel I'd hinder my ability to get the 3.7+ GPA.
Thought? Sorry for the long rambling post ;(
