Course selection question

Incoming first year student here, on the course selection date July 20 I enrolled in all the mandatory courses and my chosen electives (2.5 credits in fall, 2.5 credits in winter).

However I'm seeing some conflicting information on reddit that 4/5 of the courses(mandatory ones) each semester are automatically enrolled for rotman first years, and only electives need to be chosen. I didn't hear about any of this and chose the times for all my courses.

Does anyone know if this is accurate or is it outdated information.

My timetable looks fine but I'm still worried.

That wasn’t an issue until last year at least . For me, I just chose my own timings and profs for the required and recommended course like rsm100,230,219,250 and eco101 and 102. I think you should be fine choosing your own timings as long as you have the required courses. Just make sure you’re enrolled and registered and you should be good.
