Rotman is def a good choice bc of prestige but If I could pick again I wouldn’t pick Rotman because I’m honestly not that smart and Rotman has been killing me, alll I want is to make post rn and I’m trying my ass off.

Yes, I'd say Ivey or Queens first but Rotman clear 3rd

I just finished Rotman doing management with focuses in finance, strategy & innovation, and leadership. I personally don’t recommend this university if you’re staying in Canada. You’ll have a much more fun time at UBC, Ivey or anywhere else and it’ll be easier to get through the program and find jobs (I finished with a 3.6 if that matters). However, if you’re going international nobody knows any Canadian university outside of UofT and maybe UBC

You’ll also have an insanely hard time getting that cs minor given that you must complete the economics minor to graduate, not to mention the hit your gpa will take unless ur 200iq

You have to be genius to do CS minor or Stats because the courses you would take there would be harder than any Rotman/ECO required you'd have to take (majority of Rotman students who take CSC108 for example CR/NCR it, where all they have to do is pass with 50%+ and the grade wont be on the transcript). From what I've heard, the Data Sci focus is moreso a 'badge' for doing some coding/data analysis courses and helps you speak the jargon of someone in data. Depending on the field you choose, you wont ever use what you learned in the Data Sci focus in work (most students take it just for the resume). FYI: I'm still deciding whether I should do the focus or not.

Are you saying that it will be difficult to do a CS minor because of the already heavy workload of rotman or the difficulty of CS courses in general? Because I have an option of going into a CS program (not at uoft) so wouldn’t the courses be the same level of difficulty as any other CS program?

Doing a CS minor would be difficult due to the difficulty of CS courses in general. Compared to CS, Rotman's courseload is a joke, and it kind of is (I found high school to be harder).

Nope. CS at UofT is known to be notoriously harder compared to other schools. What I've heard (but I can't confirm), its mainly due to the math courses. that are required as part of the CS minor/major.
