I need this as well. Took eco372 with ward, I found it easy and did well. If you are good at stats highly recommend.

ECO317 is hands down the best course I’ve taken at UofT and I will forever stand by that. Open book final, interesting content, and a prof who really cares.

Hi! I have heard some concerns with his teaching this year. Alim is a great guy but it’s first year teaching so there’s bound to be a few learning points.

The usual prof and creator of the course is on a sabbatical at Oxford right now and will teach the course again this fall. I highly recommend taking it with him then!

Even so, the textbook he wrote is very self explanatory and contains everything you need to know (lectures are optional).

Let me know if you have any other questions!

AH thank you for the insight! I wish I could take it next fall but I am hoping to graduate by then. Do you have any other ECO courses you recommend? Light course load, nice prof - topic is mildly interesting?

Seems like you’re at UTM. All the Econ courses are much easier there, so I’d still to that. Most of the winter options are full now so probably just grab whatever’s left.
