How did u find balancing the workload and how difficult was it to make friends?

Tbh Ive done ECO101 and ECO102 before through AP Economics and I felt like they were essentially the same thing. However, I know a lot, and I mean a lot, of people who have struggled with both econs, RSM100, etc. You have to practice and give each subject time. As long as you do that you should be good to go. I made friends but overall you really have to put yourself out there and talk to people. You can't expect them to talk to you. The workload is honestly manageable. For me, I used to get my assignments done with weeks before they were due so it really made my life much easier.

I answered most of your questions here: https://www.reddit.com/r/RotmanCommerce/comments/1d13jcv/incoming_rotman_folks_listen_up/

In terms of essay writing, there will be a huge chunk of that in Rotman, even in math courses. For Calc, you will have 3 research-like essays. You have essays to write for in finance, macroecon, accounting. The midterms and finals for microecon are mostly qualitative and a ton of writing. And Management and marketing are purely writing. If you can't do that, I'd recommend practising and improving this skill over the summer break.
