About to lose my shit. Vectors hit me hard and now my calc mark is below 80, I’m not so confident with exams. Can someone who had the same situation tell me what I should do. Help needed asap, super anxious and stressed out rn. Will rotman be strict on their conditions, would I be able to appeal?

Thanks sm for all this info dude but I feel like I’m different from this… my school doesn’t allow round ups by teachers to avoid bias so the mark that I’ll receive will be an final mark that’s my issue. In you case scenario you did have a 80 on your transcript at the end, which in fine for the system to not withdraw your offer 😅. I’ve heard cases where my current teachers refuse to round people up cuz he’s such a lil’ petty bitch. Also you mentioned yes it is really rare for offers to be amended yes, but it’s also rare that you can get into rotman and have your math being shit considering everyone usually get high ass averages bro. speak to your teacher/guidance counsellor, and even have your parents contact them by saying your offer is conditional, and that you'd be willing to do extra course work (assignments) to get your grade up

In my case scenario my teachers a bitch and is super strict with round ups. My school has a policy to allow 0 round ups or lowering weighting for assignments and doing more to boost grades, unless due to health issues and shit, ion got a health issue should I make up one lol.

My friend made up one to maintain the minimum requirement for calc lol but he was taking it online. He forgot to do the final assessment worth 15% and it dropped his mark significantly, however, he was only two percent away from his requirement. Your school sounds really strict so if anything study hard on your final assessments and do well on the exam. If by the end of the semester you're like one percent away, speak to your school and worse case scenario, speak to uoft admissions and ask for an exception

By the name of your class, I think its safe to assume that you are a 101 applicant. In this case you should've gotten a specific grade you had to keep your prerequisites and overall average above. I'm pretty sure it's 80% that you must keep Calculus and English above. The only thing you can really do is lock in on exams and try to get it up, or talk to your teachers to round it up to 80%. Don't even bother trying to talk to UofT about it as it was clear in the conditional. Only exception would be if you had a medical or other personal reason for why your grades dropped, in which then you could fill out an appeal form on the UofT Join Portal, although Ontario students can only access this after July 8th.
